Ruti products are made from domestic raw materials. The products utilise, among other things, side streams from the wood-processing industry. Following a lengthy product development process, the products are of excellent quality and usability for their intended purpose. The products are manufactured in Finland.
For pets
Products suitable for pets also include all products suitable for domestic animals.
Ruti-Rex kennel bedding is a special fibre bedding made from Finnish softwood fibre, which provides the dog with a soft, warm and dry resting place all year round. Ruti-Rex has been developed with the dog's well-being in mind. Being consistent in quality and dust-free, it keeps the dog dry, energetic and smelling fresh. The kennel bedding also prevents the formation of calluses on the dog's paws. Ruti-Rex is ecological, non-toxic and additive-free, as well as naturally antiseptic. The used product can be easily disposed of by composting or burning, for example.
Ruti-Nest is a Finnish small animal enrichment and nesting material, which is also suitable for crafts and decoration. Ruti-Nest is made from Finnish PEFC-certified pine, which is kiln-dried, consistent in quality and dust-free. The product is economical, antiseptic and additive-free. As an enrichment and nesting material, Ruti-Nest is pleasant, warm and effectively removes moisture.
Ruti-Fresh is a versatile pellet bedding that is brilliantly suited as a nesting material and substrate for reptiles and small animals. Ruti-Fresh pellet bedding is made from domestic dried pine, which is naturally antiseptic as a material. Ruti-Fresh is a comfortable and dust-free substrate and bedding. With its suitable coarseness, the pellet bedding helps reptiles shed their skin. Ruti-Fresh also effectively binds heat and odours, so the reptile substrate remains pleasant and warm. Ruti-Fresh is also brilliantly suited as an enrichment material for small animals.
Ruti-Cat is made from domestic dried local wood and an environmentally friendly binder. Pine is naturally antiseptic and absorbent. Thanks to the eco-friendly binder, the cat litter clumps quickly. Ruti-Cat effectively traps odours and is economical in use. Solid waste is easy to scoop away. Wood-based cat litter is light to carry and handle.
For pets
Ruti-Mix is a premium absorbent peat-shaving blend. It is economical and dust-free. The product's absorbency has been further enhanced by adding peat to the shavings. It is suitable as bedding for livestock and pets. The product stays light in colour, hardly messes its surroundings and does not freeze in the cold. It biodegrades better than shavings. Ruti-Mix is additive-free, very economical and a fully domestic Key Flag product. Only pure Finnish natural raw materials have been used in its manufacture.
Ruti Wood Shavings are a domestic, hygienic and highly absorbent wood shavings product made from softwood lumber. The shavings are a soft, warm, safe bedding that is sieved for consistent quality. It is suitable as bedding for both livestock and pets.
White weatherproof packaging material preserves the original colour and scent of the wood shavings. The used litter can be disposed of by composting, for example.
Ruti-Raikas is a highly absorbent horse bedding developed especially for the needs of users sensitive to dust. The raw material is completely organic, pure and free from chemicals. Good stable air is of paramount importance when maintaining equine respiratory health and performance. A fresh stable improves the wellbeing of both horses and handlers. Well suited for horse transport. Ruti-Raikas is supplied in a white paper sack. The bedding is easy to muck out and generates less waste.

Routa wood wool is ribbon-like wood fibre. Wood wool is manufactured from untreated kiln-dried pine. Wood wool is an ecological and safe choice. Wood wool is suitable, for example, for industrial, agricultural, animal production and horticultural use.
Wood powder is used, amongst other things, in industrial production as a component of composite.
Industrial grit is used, among other things, as a component of composites in industrial production.
For environmental care
Ruti-Imux absorbent powder is a fully organic special-purpose powder suitable for absorbing oils, greases and liquids. The absorbent powder efficiently collects oils, fuels, greases and other fat-soluble liquids and chemicals, among other things. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. 1 kg of absorbent powder absorbs approximately 3 kg of oil. Ruti-Imux efficiently absorbs oil-based liquids from both hard surfaces and water, making it an ideal choice for the management of oil and grease spills. Applications include farms, machine and car repair shops, metal and mechanical workshops, logistics terminals, warehouses, environmental maintenance and the transport sector.

The Key Flag Symbol can be granted to a product that has been manufactured in Finland. A domestic origin degree is calculated for the product, which is the share of Finnish costs of the product's cost price. The symbol is administered by the Association for Finnish Work and granted by the Key Flag Symbol Committee.
