Ruti-Chip Mulch

Ruti-Wood Chip Mulch is a Finnish and environmentally friendly product developed for seedling cultivators in partnership with Finnish seedling nurseries. The mulch is made only from Finnish PEFC-certified pine, and its purpose is to improve the growing conditions of seedlings in a natural and ecological way. The mulch helps keep the seeds in place in the substrate and protects them from excessive heat and moisture evaporation. At the same time, it traps heat and moisture, especially in dry and cold conditions, which supports the steady growth of seedlings.

Ruti-Wood Chip Mulch also reduces the growth of moss and weeds in cell trays and prevents the substrate from silting up. The natural properties of the product make it a non-toxic and antiseptic option for seedling cultivation. After use, the chips naturally biodegrade into the environment, making this mulch an eco-friendly option compared to many synthetic mulch materials.

Ruti-Wood Chip Mulch is used in nurseries to protect seedlings and improve growing conditions. The properties of the chip mulch help maintain the moisture balance of the substrate and support the wellbeing of the seedlings throughout cultivation. Ruti-Wood Chip Mulch protects seeds, reduces moss growth, and helps retain moisture in the substrate.
