Epira Oy collaborates with the manufacturing industry when what are needed are wood-based raw materials that are suitable not only in theory, but actually work in practice.
Our customers usually start in the same situation: a new material is needed, the current one is not working optimally, or a more sustainable solution is desired. This is where we come in.

A material that works in your process
The functionality of a wood-based raw material is decided in production. That is why we proceed practice first.
Our collaboration usually begins with a discussion reviewing the application and requirements. Then we manufacture a test batch for the customer to test in their own process. Finally, the material is fine-tuned on the basis of testing until it works as needed.
This approach reduces risk and speeds up commissioning.

Ready-made products or a bespoke solution for your needs
Not all situations are the same. Sometimes a ready-made product that can be delivered quickly is needed. On other occasions, a completely new solution developed from scratch is required. Epira Oy offers both.
Our selection includes ready-made wood-based products for industrial use, such as absorbent dust, grain mulch, as well as wood powders and industrial fractions, to be used for example as raw materials for biocomposites.
At the same time, our production also enables the manufacture of various wood fractions, ranging from very fine wood powder to coarser grains and wood wool. These can be developed together with the customer to suit the exact application they are needed for.
Our primary raw materials are Finnish pinewood and forestry industry side streams, but we can also make use of other wood species as needed.

Deliveries and packaging – as you need it
Package sizes are designed according to the intended use, with sizes ranging from small 15 l bags to 300 kg big bags. The packaging can also be tailored as part of the comprehensive solution by engaging in a development partnership.
We deliver products to Finland and internationally. The sizes of the shipments available for delivery from the factory range from single pallets to fully loaded lorries.
